I reckon it was 10 years ago when I had reached one of the largest “Funks” in my lifetime. It was just after Prayer. My husband had been dumped by her work because of a flawed rumor someone had spread around him, and we lost a major bonus of Christmas that we had counted on. My online business is hurting because people are saving their money for holiday shopping. We were behind in our bills, creditors demanded constantly rude and Christmas was on its way and we had not a dollar more to spend on it. My husband and I took the stress we were both going through each other, and the guilt we felt over our son growing list of Christmas makes us feel worse. It was about this time that I came across the suggestion Gratitude List. I had by now studied the law of attraction principles for some time, but he had not quite mastered. I was still at a point where my current “reality” problems has full more of my thoughts over the new reality that I wanted to focus on. I learned, but, on synchronicity (coincidence the universe or your higher self keeps coming back to you when she really desires you to notice something.) In one weeks time I came in Gratitude list thought in three different seats. In an online condition in a book I read and then I heard on television. Anyway I had a suspicion. Obviously, this was something I had to do. As I said, it was a very terrible time for me. While trying to focus on excellent things to this point has been extremely hard. But then I told myself that I am discussing with what the universe was clearly trying to tell me? I chose to follow some of the examples I had heard in the three seats listed above, and whatever my current situation at the time, tried to watch me be grateful. It seems hard at first. My negative thoughts kept trying to go through – but I was determined. I would find the slightest business to be grateful. I found it much simpler than I ever thought it may possibly be. Although I can not find my first list (I reckon it was on my ancient notebook) I can not remember what I wrote the first two days. Things I am thankful for: I am grateful today that I am alive to give this business another chance of life (which is still one of my favorites) I’m grateful I’m healthy and pain freeI am thankful for my freedom (I mean I may possibly be in prison or a hospital bed – so things were not so terrible), I am grateful for my healthy family and friends. Even if I did not have much money right now, I am grateful that I will spend the holidays with all my friends and family. It has been my favorite time of year. I am grateful that we live in a gorgeous, safe, clean apartment. I am grateful that we have enough money to eat today. I am grateful that any delay in my utilities, I still have my heat and electricity and cable today. I am grateful for the clean water to drink and shower with (reckon of how many people worldwide do not even basic things) I am thankful for my pets who like me so muchi am grateful for amusing emails my friends who care about me send me. I am grateful for this notebook to receive them on. I am grateful for the Internet that brings all the answers I want in less than 5 minutes time (remember how long it took just to try to find information before the Internet?) Anyway I came up with a bunch of other things in those early days. I spent my first 15 minutes of the morning with my cup of coffee by tapping on my list. Although at first I just wanted the movements I found that I did feel a small better every morning after being made. What is more surprising to me was, but, she feels the lasting things without my even realizing it. Around the third day, I remember waking up feeling “lighter” somehow. Before I start my list that I was awakened each morning with a knot in my stomach and a sense of dread about all the things that I would be against the heart for this day. The third day, but, I’ve found myself waking feeling a small cooler. A small more pleased. A small more confidence that I may possibly deal with whatever came my way, even if none of my external circumstances have changed for the moment. Because I was not doing anything different other than my grateful list I realized that it must be the reason. This excited me and I chose to really go to town on my list. I started looking for the slightest things to be thankful. The laugh I had the day before the hearing of a amusing tale. An unexpected gift from a neighbor. My mother’s chocolate chip cookies Decorating my apartment with my beloved Christmas ticker tape that I kept in stock (and it does not cost me a penny). Maps wonderful to turn up in the mail from my friends and family with pictures of their children in excellent health more. The Christmas ticker tape up in the district will make everything more festive. Really I found the more I made the list every day, I felt better right after I did, and in general all day. I also found myself taking note of small things to be thankful for every day that I can add to the list next morning. With the law of attraction being what it is, of course my situation outside started to change as well. My husband got another job through a tie unexpectedly, we received a check from his ancient companionship to an account that we had forgotten he had, my mother surprised us by buying nearly all items on my son’s Christmas list as a gift for us and I found myself having one of the hottest Christmas: “I may possibly never remember having. Simply because for the first time I really appreciated everything I had. If you want to attract wonderful things in your life, one of the fastest ways to do is start being grateful for what you have right now. And I do not mean simply giving lip service. I mean really feel the gratitude that you write your list. Really imagine what it would be like not having so many things you take for granted in your life. If you spend your time thinking about all the wonderful things you can be pleased – the universe will naturally respond to that vibration and bring you even more.
